PRETREATMENT: To ensure that the driftwood has a better sinkable effect, it is recommended to pretreat it before placing it in the tank: 1. Boil the driftwood in water for 1 to 2 hours with soda or salt, causing the water to turn dark due to the release of tannins. 2. Boil the driftwood in water again (recommended 3 times, 1 hour each time) until the tannins are completely released. 3. Alternatively, soak the driftwood in water for 5-7 days and then wash it.
